On October 11, West Allis Police Department held their annual Recognition Ceremony. Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals was lucky enough to attend, and we were honored to receive the Community Partnership Award.
The West Allis Police Department Community Partnership Award was presented to MECA’s own Dr. Marla Lichtenberger. The Community Partnership Award is given to those local businesses that go above and beyond to help the West Allis PD with a variety of initiatives. Dr. Lichtenberger received this prestigious award for facilitating a CPR class for the West Allis PD.
MECA is proud to be recognized along with the men and women of the police department, as well as other local businesses who understand the great work that the West Allis Police Department is responsible for.
Along with the CPR class for the officers, MECA is fortunate enough to be the animal clinic that is given the honor of helping care for the K-9 unit at West Allis PD, and it’s our pleasure to make sure these animals are given the best possible care.
The West Allis Police Department holds their Recognition Ceremony each year to honor police department staff, citizens, and local businesses that have helped the department achieve their mission of improving the quality of life in West Allis.
