Floor Technician Supervisor
De’Andre White is our Chief Operating Facilitator. He is also MECA’S Floor Technician and Technician Supervisor. De’Andre studied at the Tuskegee University where he focused on Business Management courses and was a team leader for 10 years. De’Andre is most interested in the critical care aspect of animal emergency services and has a Pitbull named Buddha.
Stephen Mayer, Floor SupervisorStephen learned most of his skills and expertise from on the job training. He enjoys the fast pace environment and the unpredictable aspect of emergency medicine. He is most interested in soft tissue surgery. Stephen has one dog.
Chad Clickner, Floor SupervisorChad is a full time technician with the Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals. He also works for the Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery Specialists here in Wisconsin as a part-time technician. Chad has two dogs. Both are Australian Shepherd mixes. Chad hopes to further his education in the veterinary technician field and go on to be specialized in a particular field of veterinary medicine.
Sheila Widuk, Floor NurseSheila received her education at Milwaukee Career College. She was attracted to this position because of her deep compassion for animals. Sheila is most interested in rehabilitation from medical to behavioral in Veterinary Medicine. She has a 5 year old male American Bulldog Pit Bull mix and a 3 year old female cat.
Alexandrea Wilson, Floor NurseAlexandrea has an Associates degree from Globe University. She enjoys making animals feel better and to watch the joy on their owners faces when their pet goes home. Alexandrea is most interested in the surgery aspect of veterinary care. She has two cats and two dogs.
Erin Petersen, CVT - ICU TechnicianErin graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Colorado. She was attracted to the veterinary profession by numerous and unique opportunities to work with a variety of animals in a medical setting, and is interested in working with horses as a CVT. At home she has 2 cocker spaniels, rabbits, and a horse.
Krysta B. ICU TechnicianKrysta’s education includes a Veterinary Assistant Program at the Milwaukee Career College and is currently continuing onto the Vet Tech Program. Krysta has always loved animals and has owned a wide variety of pets.
Kali Hegwood, ICU TechnicianKali received her Veterinary Assistant Certification at Milwaukee Career College and is continuing her education to become a certified Veterinary Technician. She is passionate about animal rescue and wildlife rehabilitation.
Ethan Kirby , Floor Nurse/Inventory SupervisorEthan has been a Veterinary Assistant for 4 years. He received his hands on training when volunteering at the Center for Avian Rehab Bird Rescue and working as a Veterinary Assistant at Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital. Ethan is most interested in exotic medicine and patient care. He has a St. Bernard mix, a Cockatoo and a Macaw.
Angela Shell, ICU Technician
Angie started her career in veterinary medicine as a technician in 2001. Most of her training was received on the job, though her goal is to become a certified technician. Angie has a large family that includes a husband, 3 sons, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
