It is often difficult to diagnose animals with internal injuries, or with illnesses that aren’t readily apparent. This is one reason that radiography, or X-rays, are such an important item in our diagnostic toolkit.
There are several types of radiographic services provided by our “ER for animals.” They include but aren’t limited to barium radiographs, used for examining the digestive and elimination systems of an animal, and radiographic contrast studies.
